Bongeunsa Temple
Since you are visiting a temple here, you need to know a little history about it. Bongeunsa Temple came through an expansive period of time; it was built in the 8th century. It managed around 80 temples in Seoul during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Inside the temple, there was a sense of quiet calm and especially in the gardens.
Walking up the stairs to the main center, Buddha stands high at the top and looking over Seoul. It was a fun experience to see how parents try and teach their children to bow and just to know more about the traditional Buddhism because it is very relevant in South. Monks were very nice and welcoming and I had the chance to talk with them.
